-Project Glass
Over the past years of the 20th century, we have all been yearning for the manifestation of our sci-fi tailored living, as they say that the future is now.
What else could be more disappointing, a virtual assistant on a smartphone, a glass tablet for playing Angry Birds and other non-futuristic stuff. No time machine, no flying cars; but wait look what we have here – Google Glasses.
On April 4, 2012, the search giant Google launched a Google+ page called Project Glass. The team is building a new kind of technology that allows user to “explore and share” into a seamless experience of the so called Google Glasses.
A HUD (Heads-Up Display) that will incorporate augmented reality, voice input, maps, social networking and other cool stuff to run on an Android OS. To keep you more excited, here’s a first-person-point-of-view video, to give you an idea of how this works. Watch it and be mesmerized on how this will change our way of life. Make our dreams come true and prove that the future is now!
