It’s official Youtube Philippines is launched today! Welcoming our fellow Filipino, with a dashing jeepney on the site’s logo. It’s amazing how we Filipino have been contributing to the World Wide Web. Not to mention the recent project of Twitter in Filipino and now YouTube Philippines. Also us being coined as the “social networking capital of the world”, it is not surprising that these big internet companies are doing everything to capture a wider set of audience.
Youtube has done so much to us. It gave opportunities to our Filipino talents to be discovered. We have Charice Pempengco, Arnel Pineda, Maria Aragon and so much more. Youtube Philippines is certainly a good decision the company did. It will surely open new opportunities, not only to them but to our country as well. Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!
